Did everyone have a nice Memorial Day weekend? Mine was a mix of productivity (selling at a market and spring organizing) and fun (beach and karaoke!) We started early on Saturday. My hunny got in a round of golf in with one of his besties while I sold my jewels at Fenton Street Market.
It was a hot day but I survived (and even went on a run when I got back….the hotter the weather the more I want to run…makes no sense). Though I do have to say I slightly exhausted doing a show every weekend. That was my fifth in a row…I’m taking a break this upcoming weekend but I’ll be back the following weekend with two shows (Ballston on the 9th and Make It Mount Pleasant on the 10th) to make up for it! Saturday night we went out with a big group of friends for Karaoke…we had our own private room which was essential for not making fools out of ourselves…though somehow we still did… My hubby and I hadn’t gone out like that in a while and it was a blast…good to let go sometimes! And since we are leaving DC soon we’ve declared this the summer of fun so this was the perfect way to kick off it off!
Sunday my hubby and I took it easy and drove to a near by beach in MD to soak up the sun and eat crabs (add that to the list of things we’ll miss when we move).
And finally, Monday we did a little retail therapy and I organized my office and books. O in honor of Memorial day I went for a long run to the Washington Monument. Overall a perfect weekend! Hope you had a lovely one as well!
