I had a fun-filled and productive weekend. It started off with the season opener of the Ballston A&C Market, which is one of my favorite monthly markets I do. Even my cat, Halie tried to be a stowaway so he could join me on this glorious sunny Saturday.

The setting in Welburn Square is relaxing and the people just seem nicer for some reason. A few customers from last year even stopped by to say hi and see my newest jewels. And I met a lot of new friendly faces. It was a super successful day all around.

After the show, I wanted to go out for dinner and drinks with my hubby who had just finished law school (woot!) We took to H Street and had a relaxing time winding down. We even bumped into a girl who used to live on my floor freshman year at Smith. She ended up transferring after her first year so I hadn’t seen her in 10 years! What a small world!

The next day my hubby and I spent relaxing in the park and reading. I finally finished the last book of the Hunger Games!

We ended with weekend with an organizing kick and I ended up reorganizing all my simple chain necklaces. Overall a very productive but still relaxing weekend!

This upcoming weekend I’ll be attending my hubby’s law school graduation but before that I’ll be selling my jewels at the Spring Thing. Hope to see you there!

DC Craft Mafia Spring Thing THIS Saturday!

I’m so excited for DC Craft Mafia‘s Spring Thing, happening THIS Saturday from 11a-5p, just a few blocks from the Dupont metro. This show was such fun last year and it looks like they have even more planned this year. Local charity Lucky Dog Rescue will be there for furry love and adoptions, and live music by Dave Tieff will be provided early on in the show. It’s the perfect place to shop for local crafts (over 40 vendors will be present!) and enjoy the Spring weather. O and get there early the first 250 visitors will receive a gift tote! I’m booth #25. Hope to see you there- I’ll be bringing lots of new jewelry designs!

New Design: The Friendship Bracelet

I’ve been so busy getting into the swing of the crazy start of the craft show season that I haven’t had time to post new photos of my latest designs. Finally been able to take a breather and I am so excited to reveal my newest creation: The Friendship Bracelet. Inspired by my closest girlfriends, this simple bracelet features tiny vintage seed beads that range from turquoise to coral to cream colors.
