2011 year has proved to be a wonderful year to me. I had my first year wedding anniversary with my incredible husband, skied in the largest ski area in North America (twice), had dinner in the Eiffel Tower, walked the beaches of Kiawah Island, completed three triathlons, celebrated my best friend’s traditional Indian engagement in California, paddle boarded in the Berkshires, ate cheese curds at the Minnesota State Fair, became manager at Nana, toasted friends’ weddings in Boston and Houston, helped run and sold my jewels in three pop up shops, reunited with college classmates at Smith, and finally got the opportunity to live in the city of my dreams. While business isn’t everything (although it’s more than just a business to me) Lanyapi is doing great and has had its biggest growth year yet. I have expanded into a total of 8 shops and was able to take part in craft fairs in over 6 cities. I’m sure 2011 will prove even more exciting.
